Hello,

Here is a composite sketch of Jupiter, showing nearly a complete rotation of the planet.
It is made in a session lasting only a single night, last november 5th.
Time: 18h30, 19h35, 20h40, 21h40, 22h40, 23h45, 0h35, 1h30 en 2h20 UT.
It shows Jupiter between length of CM2 311° and 206°.

The telescope used was a 14” Dobson with Apodizing mask.
Mag. ranged from 200x tot 360x.

  2. This is awesome Tom ! it must take a lot of time and patience to complete such a project.

    You’re a very good sketcher !! Each of your jupiters are just… beatifull !! You saw so many details with your 14” and you drew all of them 9 times ! Beautiful work I LOVE IT !!!!!

    You also learn me a new thing: the apodizing mask… I must try it 😛
