Sketches and Details by Giorgio Bonacorsi

Hi all , how are you? I see yesterday the last sketch of Jeremy Perez and i say to myself: “I made the same sketch from home in the same day!” and i decide to sent you my last four sketches of “Mars in the Beehive” made with my bino bresser 10×50. I observe Mars also with my refractor 80/1000 at 333x and i see only the polar white zone but no partycular of surface. The best image of this event was throug bino 10×50, very stereoscopic and magnificent vision.
This is all for this moment.Thank you for your kind words, i’m o.k. at the moment, i hope next to sent you my new sketches of deep sky with my Dobson 10″.
Clear sky and good new sketches to all artists!!!

Ciao, Giorgio.

  1. A most impressive set of sketches seeing Mars cut through M44. I particularly like the last one since it resembles the one
I submitted previously. I believe you have me mistaken with the webmaster, Jeremy Perez. BTW no relation except we both reside in Arizona USA. This is great work you have here.

  2. Giorgio,

A very nice sequence–it is not always easy to get out several nights in a row. I like how you render the bright color of Mars–that is how it looked to me when I observed it on Nov. 3rd.

BTW, your last sketch has the date Nov. 4th on it, not Nov. 3rd. Does this sequence run to the 4th?

  3. Outstanding! I had hoped to catch this event as well, but was clouded out.

    Cheers,

  4. thank you for yuor kind words,my friends.
Excuse me for Juan,i make a mistake about your name.I made this sketch directly on black paper “Fabriano 3″,not inverted.Excuse me for second mistake,at the 3 of november the clouds cover the sky and i made the sketch too late,at 00,46a.m.,stay in 4 of november. For Mars i used in first time a white pen, after i used orange pastel.
Clear sky at all,i hope to use my new dob 10”,but in this moment the sky is covered and rain….oufff!!!!!
    Ciao,Giorgio.
