Aloha!

While observing our ever changing Sun today I was struck by a grouping of prominences on the western limb. All of them of high intensity and curving towards the same direction. They made me think of the story of Goldilocks & The 3 Bears!

  1. Cindy, Beautiful work as usual. It looks a little like the “Sun Bears” are dancing. You make it look like I’m looking through the EP with you! And gratulations on the Sketching Observing Awards Program with the Astro League. I can’t wait to get some clear skies to start sketching!
    Keep up the good work.

  2. Thank you all for your kind words and thank you ASOD for posting the link to the new AstroLeague Sketching Observing Award. We hope this program will encorage more amateur astronomers to sketch astronomical objects and enhance skills in recording observations.

    Aloha!
