Location: Tarragona – Spain

A childhood memory: Summer, 1975, Tycho observed with an old binoculars 8×30 of my father. I never would have imagined be viewed as night May 9, 2014.

Date and Time: 2014-05-09, 21h 49m UT

Telescope: SC Celestron 235mm (9.25″); CGEM mount.

Eyepiece: 7.5mm (313x)

White paper, HB2 graphite pencil, and scanned with Photoshop

Seeing: 4/5 (5 the best)

Transparency: Clear. Rural skies.

    I’m sorry, I have not explained properly. I used a binocular 8×30 of my father when I was a child. I observed Tycho and its rays during Full Moon and it was one of my first contact with “astronomy”. The sketch is made observing last 9 May with my SC 235mm :).

  3. Un magnifico dibujo 脫scar, siempre es un placer ver tus dibujos y cr贸nicas observacionales.

    Aunque me dedico mucho a la fotograf铆a astron贸mica la observaci贸n visual es algo que nunca he abandonado ni tengo intenci贸n de dejar. La visi贸n directa a trav茅s del telescopio es algo que siempre emociona.
